Major Cities Kingdom Orders The Order of the Surrounding Light
|
The Kingdom of Solus Solomon Coel was named king after his heroic efforts in the Great Orc War of 462. In his honor, the capital was renamed "Solus City". The city itself, and the kingdom prospered under his fifty year reign. To celebrate the kingdom's fifth anniversary, and the birth of his son, Alexander, Solomon founded the Great Sun Library and the College of Magics. The kingdom's borders were surveyed and mapped by a group of adventurers and militia who worked closely with the best scholars of the Great Sun Library in the years 468 and 469. Alexander Coel was coronated in the year 515, and continued to uphold his father's vision for peace. After his passing in 542, his only son, Belmont, stepped down from his position as the Dean of Harmonic Magic to take the throne. Belmont's son, Andromedus, was the last king of Solus until the year 606. The kingdom's citizens are very proud of it's military history, as the kingdom has never raised swords to instigate war, but only to raise it's shield to defend it's people. |
